Workshop: Integrating or Transitioning to Internal Family Systems (IFS) with Natasha Wilson
Description: This experiential workshop aims to appeal to practitioners new to Internal Family Systems (IFS) and those who are beginning to integrate IFS into their practice as well as experienced practitioners who wish to further develop their work. The day will be mainly experiential with meditation, exercises, demonstrations and an opportunity to work in triads as well as time for questions. We’ll look at the centrality of Self-Leadership, key IFS concepts and practices and address some of the potential barriers in transitioning to IFS vs integrating parts of the work into your practice. Natasha will be joined by a small number of local IFS practitioners /therapists to assist you in your triad work.
Learning Outcomes:
· Developed an experiential awareness of IFS key concepts including the centrality of Self Leadership and all parts are welcome.
· Meditation to foster internal awareness of Self Leadership and creating a Self to Part, Part to Self connection.
· Explored and practiced IFS concepts in triads
· Identified and discussed barriers to integrating and/or transitioning to IFS for your own therapy practice and life.
Biography: Natasha Wilson is a UKCP integrative psychotherapist, also Certified in Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, practicing in Stroud and online. She works with individuals and groups, also with couples using IFS couples therapy, Intimacy from the Inside Out (IFIO). She also facilitates two donations-based IFS community Drop ins in Stroud, Gloucestershire and also Online Community IFS Drop Ins. She is also trained in Gottman Relationship Therapy, Neurofeedback and in EMDR/IFS integration. Her style is relaxed, friendly, warm and hopefully engaging.
